What can I expect from OPTIMIZE™ 24?

How do I attend OPTIMIZE 24?

Can anybody attend OPTIMIZE 24?

This user conference is designed to add value for existing customers who use AspenTech products. Please contact Sales to discuss how our innovative solutions can help optimize your business.

When is OPTIMIZE 24?

OPTIMIZE 24 sessions and keynotes will take place starting Monday, April 29 ending Wednesday, May 1.  Training courses will take place on Thursday, May 2 at 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  There are a select few courses that will continue through 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3.

Do you have any information I can present to my manager to justify my attendance at OPTIMIZE 24?

Yes. Visit the ‘Why Attend Optimize 24’ section on the home page and download the document explaining the benefits for your industry.

I need some more details about the live event. When is this being released?

We will continually update the event website as more information is available. Be sure to bookmark www.optimize2024.com and return often for more details.

I would like to attend OPTIMIZE 24 but need a visa to enter the United States. Is there an invitation letter available I can provide with my visa application?

Yes, we have a general invitation letter available for customers that need to obtain a visa to enter the United States. Click here to download the letter.

How do I access the presentation downloads?

First, ensure you are logged in by clicking the platform links in emails from no-reply@events.aspentech.com. Then, click 'Take me there' in the banner at the top of the OPTIMIZE 24 home page. The next page will display all sessions, and sessions with downloadable content will be tagged 'Available for Download'. Use the filters in the top right corner to show only sessions with downloads available.

Registration & Payments

I am receiving an error message when I try to submit payment.

There are a few reasons you may receive an error:

• You are not using a MasterCard or Visa credit card. AspenTech does not accept American Express.
• You have entered an incorrect billing address for the credit card being used. Doing so will generate an AVS (address verification scan) error.
• You have tried to submit your registration form too many times after receiving the error message. Typically, trying to submit the payment form more than 2 times for the same credit card will result in a fraud error.

We recommend you try to submit your registration again on another day using an accepted credit card type and the correct billing address associated with the card. If you continue to have issues, reach out to the OPTIMIZE event team.

My company is not able to pay by credit card. Is there an alternative method of payment available?

If you are unable to pay by credit card and require an invoice, reach out to the OPTIMIZE event team for assistance.

Are there group discounts available for OPTIMIZE 24?

We are excited to announce special group discounts for OPTIMIZE attendees. Groups of 10-24 individuals from the same company will receive a 5% discount and larger groups of 25+ receive a 10% discount. Companies interested in taking advantage of these group discounts should reach out directly to our team at OPTIMIZE@aspentech.com

What meals are included with my registration fee?

Conference only ticket holders: 

• Breakfast, lunch and a welcome reception will be available on Tuesday
• Breakfast, lunch and closing cocktail reception will be available on Wednesday

Conference and training ticket holders:

• All meals included for conference only attendees
• Breakfast and lunch will be available on Thursday
• Breakfast will be available on Friday, for those attending the DGM training courses

What should I do if I haven't received a confirmation email?

If you have not received your confirmation email, please first check your junk/spam folder. If you still can't locate your confirmation email, please chat with a member of our support team at OPTIMIZE@aspentech.com.

I can no longer attend the event, how do I cancel my ticket?

We are sorry to hear won’t be attending OPTIMIZE 24. To cancel your ticket, please email your request to OPTIMIZE@aspentech.com. Your timely cancellation will enable us to provide your spot to another participant and sustainably manage our resources.

What is the refund policy?

If you are no longer able to attend, please send an email to OPTIMIZE@aspentech.com to request a refund.  Refunds will be provided as follows:

• More than 14 days prior to the start of the event, 100% refund will be issued
• 14 days–7 days, 50% refund will be issued
• Less than 7 days, no refund will be issued

If you need to cancel with less than 7 days notice, we will gladly reassign your ticket to someone else in your organization.

Training

Do I need to register in advance for the training on Thursday and Friday?

Yes, if you want to attend any of the training courses, please register, select and pay for the course you want. Space is extremely limited, so be sure to register early.

Is there an additional cost to attend the training sessions on Thursday and Friday?

The cost to attend training is: early bird $550, standard $650 and late $750 per course.

How can I add training if I already registered for the event?

If you have already registered for the event and want to add training on, please reach out to the OPTIMIZE 24 event team at OPTIMIZE@aspentech.com.

Which airport should I use?

The Marriott Marquis Houston in conveniently located to both the George Bush Intercontinental and the William P. Hobby airports.

How can I organize accommodations for the event?

Room blocks have been established at the Marriott Marquis Houston and the Hilton of the Americas at a discounted rate of $276, plus tax per night.  Links to reserve rooms at either hotel will be included in your event registration confirmation email. Reserve your room before April 26 to receive the discounted conference rate.
